Ideas Portal Terms and Conditions
The purpose of this program is to provide Orlando International Airport (“Airport”) employees with the opportunity to suggest ideas that can be used to improve customer service and efficiency, or reduce waste and expense at the Airport. This program is not a forum to get answers relating to specific questions or issues or to register complaints.
Any employee of the Airport, including Greater Orlando Aviation Authority (“Aviation Authority”) employees and those who work for businesses operating at the Airport may submit ideas or suggestions to the Ideas Portal. Ideas or suggestions should be directed to ways to improve customer service or efficiency, or reduce waste and expense at the Airport. Ideas or suggestions that, if implemented, would infringe copyright or intellectual property rights of another or could subject the Aviation Authority to liability of any type are not permitted.
If you make a suggestion on behalf of a company, organization or other entity, then “you” includes you and that entity and you represent that you are authorized to grant all permissions and agreements provided in these Terms and Conditions and bind the entity to these Terms and Conditions, and that you agree to these Terms and Conditions on the entity’s behalf.
By submitting an idea or suggestion to the Ideas Portal, you expressly grant the Aviation Authority permission to use, implement, alter or reject any proposed ideas or suggestions without compensation. In addition, you agree that the idea or suggestion becomes the property of the Aviation Authority and you relinquish all claims to it. The Aviation Authority makes no warranty as to any particular idea or suggestion being implemented. The Aviation Authority's decision with respect to all ideas or suggestions submitted will be final and the Aviation Authority is under no obligation to explain its decision.
The Aviation Authority is subject to the Florida Sunshine and Public Records Laws and you understand that any ideas or suggestions submitted to the Ideas Portal may be the object of a public records request.
The Aviation Authority shall not be responsible for damages, losses or liabilities of any kind, including without limitation, direct, indirect or consequential loss or damages arising from the submission of an idea. You agree to indemnify and hold the Aviation Authority harmless from any and all demands, liabilities, losses, costs and claims asserted against the Aviation Authority that may arise or result from the submission of your idea or suggestion to the Ideas Portal. You also release and hold the Aviation Authority harmless with respect to any claims, damages, costs, losses and expenses, including reasonable attorneys' fees, due to or arising out of the idea or suggestion you submit, the Aviation Authority's use of such idea or suggestion, your violation of these Terms and Conditions, or the violation by you or the Aviation Authority of your or any third party's rights, including without limitation, intellectual property or other proprietary rights, rights of privacy and publicity, rights of attribution, or any other liability, direct or indirect, vicarious, contributory, or otherwise.
The Aviation Authority reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions from time to time at its sole discretion and such amendment is binding on you. The Aviation Authority reserves the right to discontinue the Ideas Portal at any time. If the Aviation Authority terminates the Ideas Portal, you will continue to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
These Terms and Conditions constitute the entire agreement between you and the Aviation Authority regarding the use of the Ideas Portal. If any provision of these Terms and Conditions is deemed invalid, then that provision will be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions of these Terms and Conditions will remain in full force and effect.
This Agreement has been entered into, and shall be governed by, and shall be construed and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the State of Florida. Any proceedings whether local, state or Federal brought by you arising out of this Agreement shall be filed in a court of competent jurisdiction in Orange County, Florida.
